21/07 2024Páll Palomares violinist and Erna Vala Arnardóttir pianist join hands and lead the audience on a journey through Europe and the United States at Gljúfrastein's next concert on Sunday, July 21. Romance and beauty will be in the foreground, mixed with virtuosity. The concert will feature works by Sarasate, Fauré, Albeniz, Montgomery and others. Páll Palomares is one of the leading violinists in the country. He is one of the conductors of the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra and has been prominent in the country's musical life in recent years, both in the orchestra, as a soloist and in chamber music. Erna Vala is one of the most exciting pianists of the young generation, but she has won numerous awards in Iceland and abroad and has performed widely in Iceland. She is the founder of the music festival Seiglu, which takes place in Harpa. The concert starts at 16 in the living room at Gljúfrasteini.
Entrance fee is ISK 3,500. and ticket sales take place at the museum's reception before concerts
