This concert invites the audience to step back in time and listen to low-key live music from William Shakespeare's time sung and played on instruments from that era. The performers are the harpist and singer Sólveig Thoroddsen, and the lute player Sergio Coto Blanco, both of whom have specialized in historical performances. They have performed together at numerous music festivals in Europe and Central America since 2015, including Summer Concerts in Skálholt, Summer Concerts in Sigurjónssafn, Reykjavík Early Music Festival and Festival Internacional de Música Barroca Santa Ana. The concert starts at 16 in the living room at Laxness Museum. Entrance fee is ISK 3,500. and ticket sales take place at the museum's reception before concerts. We advise visitors that there are enough parking spaces at Jónstótt.
